Like.com - will this work for real estate?

by admin

logo-like.gifSurfing the web today, I came across a site called like.com. The site uses likeness technology to find products for sale. For example if you see a picture of a movie star with a certain purse you like, you can zoom in on the purse and then like.com will find similar purses. Pretty interesting IMO. My question is, can you search for real estate using this product. Of course, today you can’t but in a few years do you think it’s possible to do a home search based on likeness, color or style.

I went to riya.com (they are behind this new site) and did a search for real estate. Nothing was found except a few real estate for sale signs. This technology is definitely interesting and I would not doubt it making its way into your next home search.

Another site that has nothing to do with real estate, but is fun, is myheritage.com (Face Recognition to celebrities) Have fun
