Work around for the MBL link strategy
by MattI recently wrote a post about using your MyBlogLog acount for a link when you comment on other blogs. Works great except there is one problem…your avatar doesn’t appear if they show MBL avatars.
When a blog has “show MBL avatars on comments” turned on, MBL looks at the sites you author and finds your avatar and then displays it. Since you are using a url that is not in “the sites you author” your profile will not appear.
Here is the work around. Simply add your MBL account to the sites you author.
now when you leave a comment, your avatar will appear next to your comment.
