Women’s Council of Realtors Blog Network Launches

by

Realivent and Domus today launched the first Women’s Council of Realtor network blogs in California. WCR Blogs is a network of WCR blogger agents throughout California, spanning as far north as the state’s capital, winding through the "Wine Country" all the way down to beautiful San Diego. The intial group of WCR bloggers include:

Kim DiBenedetto, Carmel
Marian Bennett, Peninsula and Coastside
Elaine Murphy Carlson , Palos Verdes
Melanie Narducci , San Francisco
Chris Molnar , San Mateo
Mary Moloney, San Luis Obispo
Kathleen Hendricks, Carmel
Grace Keng, Cupertino
John Juarez, Fremont
Carol Shields, Wine Country
Roberta Murphy, San Diego
Marion Duffy, Aliso Viego
Gena Reide, Sacramento

The idea of a blog network allows for individual agents to share in the rewards of team publishing. Inman News says , "While individual members of the blog network may go two or three days before placing a new post on their own blog sites, the network site is updated more regularly because of the collective participation."

We have been working closely with Kevin Boer and Pat Kitano at Domus Consulting to put together these multiple blog networks. Previously , we launched Homescopes which was a group of Coldwell Banker agent blogs which has done incredibly well with growing readership and traffic. More blog networks are coming including brokerage networks in northern California, the Northwest, another Bay Area network and a Southern California network.

Blogsites Focusing on the Community with Diverse Solutions IDX MLS Search

by

We’ve been working on a few new community blogsites with lots of moving parts. Using Wordpress to build real estate sites is a growing trend and we’re seeing demand for more and more functionality to make them full fledged marketing and business management systems.

1. Community/Featured Highlight boxes:
In this site, Mike Rozell of Executive Real Estate uses a highlight box to feature select homes for sale.
As many as 5 features/highlights can be added here and can be rotated as needed.

This section can also be used for a personal introductory video or video tours of homes.

The same blogsite design here uses this area for listings display, stats graphs, IDX search , video news, trends, and local area maps.

This community highlight section is like the Quick Links of our Featured Listings pages.

2. Featured Listings

As mentioned previously, all of our blogsites come with native Featured Listings application for listings management and marketing.

In this particular case Mike has a whopping 126 listings on his site and of course if you click through to any of the listings,

you get all the relevant information around that particular property.

3. Featured Communities Section

Loading up new communities is easy here. Blog about each community and fill them with details. When someone clicks on one of the communities , they’re taken directly to all the details that you’ve provided for that community. Your site visitors will feel like you are indeed the area expert with so much info that is presented in such a way that it is extremely easy to navigate.

4. Integrated IDX from Diverse Solutions

So you’ve got blog posts, you’ve got photos and pictures of the community, and lead-gen forms, but wait, that’s not enough – your community blogsite wouldn’t be complete without a comprehensive listings search engine. We’ve integrated many types of IDX solutions on different sites and recently found a very slick solution by Diverse Solutions. Their latest dsSearch Agent product is a true winner! Several key features makes this system one of the best out there:

1. Easy slider search tools allowing for quick searches
2. Back end quick link functions which allow you to pre-populate the search page with results from a predetermined area and price range
3. Embeddable widgets and RSS links which enables you to push your listings to multiple sites

4. Ability to add the search functionality on multiple sites. So if you have 5 community sites, 10 property sites, and 1 corporate site, you can now have IDX search on all of them

So Here’s the Community Blogsite FeatureSet Summary

- Highlight Box for recent news, trends, stats, listings and blog posts
- Native Featured listings and Featured communities management allowing for quick access to the most relevant information
- IDX Search by Diverse Solutions
- Lead-gen forms and widgets
- Ability to add additional on-demand sites
- All-in-One SEO
- Google Analytics and tons of other plugins
- Ability to add community members and business networks
- and much , much, more…
