Mortgage Blog with Embeddable Wufoo Form
by Team RealiventMany times we stumble upon new applications of our blogsite platform and find
that our users are very creative when trying to maximize their blogsite potential.
One blogsite that recently caught our interest was this on. This shows a non-intrusive mortgage
form that helps him get quick information on his users to follow up
with a rate quote. What makes this simply amazing was the fact that
the form was made by the blog author himself using a fun form maker called Wufoo.
Wufoo allows you to create custom forms of any kind including polls, questionairres, application, and simple surveys and embed them
into your site all "without writing a single line of code". Now, that’s cool!

That form is not encrypted. Sorry, but that’s a very bad idea. There’s a reason why mortgage web hosting companies charge so much for a similar application. It’s because the apps live on secure (https) pages.
That originator is asking for every bit of information that a identity theft could ever need. Not securing it is playing fast and loose with a consumers financial wellbeing.

Very good point! We were mostly intrigued by the ability to create your own forms rather than the technicalities of the form itself.
March 4th, 2008 at 8:57 amWufoo does allow you to secure your forms (or fields within a form). This is just a sample form template. Wufoo rocks!
March 4th, 2008 at 8:09 pmWell if they can do secure forms, that’s pretty cool!
March 4th, 2008 at 9:19 pmIs there any need for a complete 1003 in a blog (given that it is secured) ?
